The Management Committe of SPLASH is very robust and diverse, same as the work-force which represents mixed and diverse ethnicities of the community.
  • Extending Diversionary and Educational projects for children and young people.
  • Encouraging men and women into employment through dedicated workers and team approach.
  • Promoting a wide range of Healthy Living Programmes for men and women.
  • Promoting a more inclusive involvement by all the Estates in the Housing Choice Programme.
  • Promoting harmony and cultural appreciation through India-Year.
  • Building the skills, knowledge and capacity of local residents and tenants to create better opportunities for them in terms of jobs, life skills and further education.
  • Strengthening our partnership work with LBTH, the PCT, Tower Hamlets College, Local Area Partnerships, Safer Neighbourhood Teams, and local Voluntary, Statutory and Business groups.
Health Awareness

This is managed by Mandy Molyneux who has worked with men and women in Blackwall and Limehouse for over eight years. She has organised Exercise Classes, Yoga sessions, Step aerobics, hockey and Keep Fit. Currently she is enabling women on Robin Hood Gardens Estate to go swimming in Tiller Road. There is also a weekly class on the Estate- all funded by the Community Empowerment Fund. She is planning other classes on other estates and in the Workhouse Leisure Centre on Poplar High Street. These should be up and running shortly after Eid.
